Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 June 2026
These terms cover the design and development services Responsive Hive provides. The specific scope, price and timing of any project are set out in a separate written proposal, which takes precedence where it differs from the general terms below.
Quotes and scope
We quote per project after an initial conversation. A quote describes the agreed scope of work. Work outside that scope is discussed and agreed separately before it begins, so there are no surprise additions.
Payment
Unless the proposal says otherwise, projects are invoiced in stages — typically a deposit to begin and a balance on completion. Amounts are in EUR. Invoices are due within the period stated on the invoice.
Your responsibilities
- Providing the content, access and feedback a project needs, within reasonable time.
- Confirming that any material you supply is yours to use.
Delays in providing these may move the timeline.
Revisions
Each stage includes a sensible number of revision rounds, set out in the proposal. We would rather get the direction right early than polish the wrong thing late.
Ownership
On final payment, ownership of the final deliverables for your project passes to you. We may keep working files and may show the finished work as part of our own portfolio, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Any third-party fonts or assets remain under their own licences.
Cancellation
Either side may end a project in writing. Work completed and any committed costs up to that point remain payable.
Liability
We take care over our work, but we do not warrant that a site will be free of every error or that it will achieve a particular commercial result. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
